Andi Mallaranggeng as the Indonesian Sports Minister said on wednesday at the ASEAN Sports Ministers meeting in Yogyakarta that the member agreed to establish a single coordinating board.

To boost the ASEAN member archievements in local events and International events in addition to support the ASEAN goal to form single community by 2015 then in Yogyakarta the ASEAN Sports Ministers agree to establish the single coordinating board on the ASEAN Sports Ministerial Meeting.

On the ASEAN Sports Ministers Meeting also appoint Andi Mallaranggeng as the chairman of the coordinating board and as the vice chairman appoint the Lao’s Sports Minister Phankam Viphavanh. According to the minister that the board will set up a working plan from the help of an Expert Group Meeting (EMG) which also has been newly established.
